Dartmoor is the only part of England that officially permits wild camping – that is, pitching your tent wherever you like. Wild camping is oddly liberating. No toilet blocks, caravans, electricity hookups, or other campers. In the way of too much freedom and choice, however, it can also be rather confusing.
